They're baaaack

YES SIR!! They are back! Furby's that is. Who remembers those fuzzy little Gremlin lookin' guys?! I know I do. They first came out in the 90's and I remember all my friends had one. I wasn't too big on the at the time but I guess they kind of grew on me. When they made a reappearance about 10 years ago, my grandmother bought my little sister one for Christmas and it was AWESOME! We (being my sister, brother, and I) all learned the Furby language and actually spoke it to each other!! Haha! Great times.

Now, the new ones have DIGITAL eyes! How awesome is that?! Well, being the fact that Furby is going to be a HUGE thing again this holiday season, I have been making crochet Furby inspirted hats, for all sizes! I can make Furby inspired stuffed toys and even little Furby inspired purses. If Furby isn't your thing, I've been making Gizmo inspired hats, stuffed toys and purses as well. They can be furry or not, all depending on your preference. :) I can't wait to show you all the current one I'm working on. It should be done tomorrow so hold onto your seats, this may blow you away.

Goodnight everyone!

a new beginning

I'm going to start posting all of my knit and crochet adventures here on this blog from my other one. I think keeping the blog separate would be best.

More recently I've been working on a project and I, for one, absolutely love it!! It's inspired by one of my favorite movies. Alice in Wonderland. I loved the cartoon version as a child but the newer one (from 2009, i believe) is definitely one of my favorites.

Anyway I just putting the finishing touches on the clutch to go along with the set. This is a picture I have when I just started it. Once I decide when to put up the pattern (which will be free) I'll pictures as I progressed through the clutch.

That is the beginning of the clutch. I'm so very excited to show you all how it turned out and get that pattern up for you all. :)

Have a wonderful day,
-Charissa
