Wouldn't you agree? I'm currently drawing up some patterns to create my own handmade dolls, animals, plushies, etc. I haven't been able to sew them all together yet but once I get some free time I'll definitely be able to hand sew these suckers.
I've been doodling a lot though, and I'm very excited to show off my final product(s). I may need some pattern testers. :)
Aside from all that my little boy turned 3 on Monday! He had such a wonderful birthday. We had a delicious ham dinner with baked beans and a salad. Then we had cake. Peanut got to pick out which cake he wanted and he chose a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. It had beautifully decorated balloons on it and I put on his number 3 candle. He was so excited to see his cake and candle that he blew out his candle twice before we got to sing to him. Haha. While we were singing to him Peanut decided to sing as well, gosh it was the cutest ever.
Good day everyone,

Time slipped away
It's crazy how quickly time can pass without us even knowing. Anyway I had been SUPER busy with all my custom orders; but now that I am working SOLELY on my shop and an inventory, I will not be as busy but busy enough to keep the roof over my head. :)
Well let me catch you all up on what I'm currently working on. Right now I am working on a beautiful knit sweater that I just started.
Other than these items, I'm looking at expanding my shop. Not only for knit and crochet items but opening the "doors" to new horizons. :)
I have a brand new Kangaroo hat that I designed on my own that I WILL be posting very soon. Stay tuned for a whole bunch of new and exciting things.

That's just the beginning. I'm doing a k1p1 ribbing in Red Heart Super Saver Burgundy. I can not WAIT to see how this turns out!
I'm also working on a Pikachu hat for my son. He is turning 3 on Monday and I'm making this special, just for him. I designed the hat on my own and I'm not 100% sure if I'll be posting the pattern, yet.
This isn't the best picture but a bad pic is better than none right? right.

So I've been thinking...
I've been really wanting to get into writing (FREE) patterns more often. I have SO many ideas, but where do I start?! I would love to hear some input on new types of products or patterns you may want to see here on my blog. What if I did some sort of giveaway? If I got some sponsors to help sponsor the giveaway and the idea I choose to write a pattern for would win. Lots of things for me to think on.
What do you think? Would you want to be apart of the giveaway or would you want to participate?
Back to work :)

They're baaaack
YES SIR!! They are back! Furby's that is. Who remembers those fuzzy little Gremlin lookin' guys?! I know I do. They first came out in the 90's and I remember all my friends had one. I wasn't too big on the at the time but I guess they kind of grew on me. When they made a reappearance about 10 years ago, my grandmother bought my little sister one for Christmas and it was AWESOME! We (being my sister, brother, and I) all learned the Furby language and actually spoke it to each other!! Haha! Great times.
Now, the new ones have DIGITAL eyes! How awesome is that?! Well, being the fact that Furby is going to be a HUGE thing again this holiday season, I have been making crochet Furby inspirted hats, for all sizes! I can make Furby inspired stuffed toys and even little Furby inspired purses. If Furby isn't your thing, I've been making Gizmo inspired hats, stuffed toys and purses as well. They can be furry or not, all depending on your preference. :) I can't wait to show you all the current one I'm working on. It should be done tomorrow so hold onto your seats, this may blow you away.
Goodnight everyone!
